MemeBot9000 Acceptable Use Policy

Definitions

• MemeBot9000: The face-swap and meme generation application discussed in this policy.
• User: Any individual accessing or using MemeBot9000.
• Content: Any images, text, or other media generated using MemeBot9000.

Comedy and Parody Focus

• MemeBot9000 is designed for comedy and parody purposes only. The content generated is meant to be humorous, entertaining, and not to be taken as factual or real.
• Users are encouraged to create content that is light-hearted and fun, avoiding any material that could be misinterpreted as real or offensive.

Face-Swap Technology and Automatic Labeling

• MemeBot9000 uses face-swap technology for image generation. To prevent misuse and misinterpretation:
• All generated content is automatically watermarked and labeled as artificial by the app.
• These watermarks and labels must not be removed, obscured, or altered under any circumstances.
• Despite these safeguards, users must still exercise responsibility. Do not create or share content that could reasonably be mistaken for authentic footage or used to spread misinformation, even with the watermarks and labels in place.
• All generated content should be used only for parody or comedic purposes as intended by the app.

First Amendment Protection

• Under the First Amendment of the United States Constitution, parodic and satirical content is protected as a form of free speech. MemeBot9000 leverages these protections to provide a platform for creative expression through humor and parody.
• However, this protection does not extend to defamatory, harassing, or otherwise harmful content.

The content generated by this app is for entertainment purposes. It is not intended to depict real events or individuals in any manner that is misleading or deceptive.

User Responsibility

• Users are responsible for ensuring they have the rights to use any images they upload. This includes obtaining explicit permission from individuals whose likeness they use, especially public figures and celebrities.
• Users must not use the app to create or distribute content that is defamatory, harassing, or otherwise harmful.

Intellectual Property

• Do not upload or use images or content that infringe on the intellectual property rights of others, including copyrights and trademarks.
• When using images from Wikimedia Commons, the app will automatically add the appropriate Creative Commons attribution.

Privacy and Publicity

Prohibited Content

• The app will automatically add the appropriate Creative Commons attribution for images used from Wikimedia Commons.

• We will review all reports within 48 hours and take appropriate action.
• False or malicious reporting is itself a violation of this policy and may result in the reporting user losing access to the app.

Age Restrictions

MemeBot9000 is intended for users aged 13 and older. Users under 18 should have parental consent to use this app.

Consequences of Violation

Violations of this policy may result in content removal, temporary suspension, or permanent termination of your account. Severe or repeated violations may also result in legal action where applicable.
